Commands

Every slash command Vortigern registers.

Commands are registered globally, so they appear in every server the bot is in. What you can actually run depends on your Discord permissions, and for faction commands, on your roster standing.

Moderation

Each of these enforces Discord's role hierarchy — you cannot action someone with a role equal to or above your own — and refuses to target yourself or the bot. A burst limiter caps each moderator at 10 actions per 30 seconds per server, as an anti-nuke guard.

/ban Ban Members
Bans a member from the server. DMs them the reason first, where their privacy settings allow it.
user (required) · reason · delete_messages — None, 1, 3 or 7 days of their recent messages
/kick Kick Members
Removes a member from the server. They can rejoin with a new invite.
user (required) · reason
/timeout Moderate Members
Temporarily mutes a member so they cannot send messages or join voice.
user (required) · duration (required) — 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week · reason
/warn Moderate Members
DMs a member a warning and posts it in the channel. Keeps no record — see the note below.
user (required) · reason

Session

All session commands require Manage Messages and cannot be used in DMs. Each one posts an announcement from Site Operations — carrying the phase's designation and the colour the dashboard paints it — and moves the live session status shown on the dashboard and in the moderator panel.

/sessionpoll Manage Messages
Posts a Muster Call for staff to confirm attendance on, and sets the status to SSU Poll.
ssuh (required) — the session host · time (required) · smod — session moderator · reactions — muster target, default 5
/sessionstartup Manage Messages
Announces Site Online with the boarding steps, and adds a join button when the profile is a full https:// link. Sets the status to Session Started.
ssuh (required) · server_name (required) · profile (required) — the host's Roblox profile URL · smod
/sessionroleplay Manage Messages
Announces Roleplay Live. Sets the status to Roleplay Active.
ssuh (required) · smod
/sessionpause Manage Messages
Announces Roleplay Held, with the reason when one is given. Sets the status to Roleplay Paused.
ssuh (required) · smod · reason
/sessionshutdown Manage Messages
Announces Session Concluded. Sets the status to Offline.
ssuh (required) · smod

Faction

/faction works in a faction's own Discord server, once a faction leader has linked it from the Faction Hub. It has no Discord permission gate — access is decided by whether you are on that faction's roster, and whether you are leadership.

/faction info Anyone
Shows the faction's record: type, clearance, activity status and granted permissions.
/faction roster Anyone
Lists the faction roster, optionally filtered to one rank.
rank — filter to a single rank
/faction whois Anyone
Looks up a member's rank and status in this faction.
member (required)
/faction loa Roster members
Sets your own leave-of-absence status. You can set yourself Active or LoA — Suspended is leadership-only and deliberately not offered here.
status (required) — Active or LoA
/faction announce Faction leadership
Posts an announcement to the faction's hub page, and to Discord if the announcements module is bound to a channel.
title (required) · body
/faction standing Faction leadership
Shows the faction's discipline record — active strikes and warnings, lifetime totals, and pending appeals. Reply is private to you.

Known limitations

/warn does not store anything. It sends the DM and posts the embed, but there is no warning history and nothing accumulates. If you need a durable record, use the Faction Hub's punishment system, which does persist, or keep your own log.

The “Enable slash commands” toggle in Management → Commands currently has no effect. It saves, and it is recorded in the audit trail, but nothing reads it — commands stay registered either way. Documented here rather than left for you to discover.

SCREEN TOO NARROW

This device is below Vortigern's supported size.

Vortigern is built for phones, tablets and computers. Your screen reports under 300px of width, so panels and controls will overflow and some pages will be hard to use.

Rotate the device or open Vortigern on a larger screen for the full interface.
