Around Vortigern
New6
- The in-game scripts are public. The logger and the lockdown, event and system controllers are now available to every site, not just the communities we set up by hand. Open a Support ticket to get them. Each one needs your server's ID and its game ingest key from the dashboard, and you paste them into SCP:RP's Server Addons as they are.
- In-game commands. Staff can type
!evt <code>to run a site event and!lrc <code>to declare a lockdown protocol from game chat —!lrc clearstands everything down. Anyone without access gets an alert saying so, and every command lands in the audit log. - Choose who can use them. Management → Settings → In-game Commands allows the server owner, anyone with Manage Server and anyone holding the Trigger Events or Lockdown Protocols permit, once they are verified with Bloxlink. Add Roblox accounts for players who are not verified, and Discord users who should have access without a permit. Only the owner can change the lists.
- A Support lane on the support desk. It sits first of five, ahead of Data & Privacy, Reports, Management and Commissions, for help with Vortigern, access to the in-game scripts and anything that does not fit another lane. It is on the ticket panel in our support server.
- Live session feed in Discord. Management → Settings → Live Session Feed posts a status message that keeps itself up to date — status, players, peak, uptime, the active lockdown and event, staff on duty, the session poll and the server — and can rename a channel to match, like 🖥️ | Game Server: 🔴 Offline.
- Hosting. We now host Discord bots, websites and game backends for communities — see Products, and ask through a Commissions ticket.
Improved5
- Cooldowns on lockdowns, events and system announcements, from the toolbox and from game chat. One person waits 20 seconds between lockdowns or events, and the same one cannot run again for a minute; System Events announcements wait 10 and 30 seconds. Stop-all and the all-clear are never held up by the per-person wait.
- Renames and edits reach the game in seconds. The lockdown and event controllers pick up changes on their next poll instead of about once a minute.
- Looping alarms and sirens stop on their own after a minute, in-game music plays at half volume, and the seismic and Blue lockdown lighting is dimmer.
- Chat logs carry the player's Roblox ID, so their lines stay matched to their player record after a username change.
- A roomier ticket panel. Each lane gets its own line and a one-sentence description, and the helpdesk answers are up to date.
Changed2
- Tickets are opened in Discord. Support, Reports, Management and Commissions run from the ticket panel in our support server. The support page points you there and keeps only data requests.
- Data requests get a private channel. A data request or erasure request filed on the website opens a channel in our support server with our support staff and you — straight away if you are in the server, or as soon as you join. Talk it through there; the decision is made on the website and posted back into the channel, which then closes.
Privacy2
- Erasure requests need a reason. Personal and server erasure requests now ask why, a short explanation, a set of confirmations — including that a named Roblox account is yours — and your username or the server's name typed out.
- Approving a personal erasure deletes its discussion channel too, so the conversation does not outlive the data it was about.
